But first…

The Benefits of Sleep

Sleep is something we all need to be healthy. It plays a vital role in your overall health and wellbeing. Getting enough sleep can help protect your mental health, physical health, and your quality of life.

A good night’s sleep:

There are all kinds of reasons people have trouble sleeping. One of the most common is anxiety.

How many times have you crawled into bed but can’t sleep because of all the thoughts running through your head. It’s happened to me before, more than once.

A lot of people need a little help getting (and staying) asleep.

There are all kinds of reasons people have trouble sleeping. One of the most common is anxiety.

If anxiety is what’s keeping you up at night, research shows us that CBD oil for sleep can help.

This particular study examined 72 patients who reported poor sleep, often due to anxiety. They were treated with CBD oil. And the results were really promising:

  • Anxiety decreased within the first month in 57 patients (79.2%)
  • Sleep improved within the first month in 48 patients (66.7%)

Another study suggests CBD can affect sleep directly because of how it interacts with receptors in your brain. That makes sense, given that the role of the Endocannabinoid System is to bring about balance.

How to Use CBD Oil for Sleep

You can take a CBD tincture on it’s own, but adding it to your favorite herbal tea is another great way to do it.

Our go-to tea for sleep is chamomile. It’s been shown to have it’s own positive effects on sleep in various research studies

A few others that work well are lavender and valerian root.

To make the nighttime brew, just steep your chosen tea as you normally would. Once you’re ready to drink it, add your nighttime dose of CBD. That’s it.
